One-syllable rhymes

  • free — enjoying personal rights or liberty, as a person who is not in slavery: a land of free people.
  • gloss — an explanation or translation, by means of a marginal or interlinear note, of a technical or unusual expression in a manuscript text.
  • me — of or involving an obsessive interest in one's own satisfaction: the me decade.
  • see — to perceive with the eyes; look at.
  • tea — the dried and prepared leaves of a shrub, Camellia sinensis, from which a somewhat bitter, aromatic beverage is prepared by infusion in hot water.
  • terms — a word or group of words designating something, especially in a particular field, as atom in physics, quietism in theology, adze in carpentry, or district leader in politics.

  • words — a unit of language, consisting of one or more spoken sounds or their written representation, that functions as a principal carrier of meaning. Words are composed of one or more morphemes and are either the smallest units susceptible of independent use or consist of two or three such units combined under certain linking conditions, as with the loss of primary accent that distinguishes black·bird· from black· bird·. Words are usually separated by spaces in writing, and are distinguished phonologically, as by accent, in many languages.

Two-syllable rhymes

  • ary — any; anyone.
  • many — constituting or forming a large number; numerous: many people.

Three-syllable rhymes

  • awkwardly — lacking skill or dexterity. Synonyms: clumsy, inept; unskillful, unhandy, inexpert. Antonyms: deft, adroit, skillful, dexterous; handy.

Four-or-more syllable rhymes

  • debauchery — You use debauchery to refer to the drinking of alcohol or to sexual activity if you disapprove of it or regard it as excessive.
