- still — remaining in place or at rest; motionless; stationary: to stand still.
- though — for all that; however.
- yet — at the present time; now: Don't go yet. Are they here yet?
- on the other hand — the terminal, prehensile part of the upper limb in humans and other primates, consisting of the wrist, metacarpal area, fingers, and thumb.
- aside from — Aside from means the same as apart from. This form is more usual in American English.
- barring — You use barring to indicate that the person, thing, or event that you are mentioning is an exception to your statement.
- omitting — to leave out; fail to include or mention: to omit a name from a list.
- without — with the absence, omission, or avoidance of; not with; with no or none of; lacking: without help; without shoes; without her helping me; without him to help.
- disregarding — to pay no attention to; leave out of consideration; ignore: Disregard the footnotes.
