scrawled — to write or draw in a sprawling, awkward manner: He scrawled his name hastily across the blackboard.
unclear — free from darkness, obscurity, or cloudiness; light: a clear day.
undecipherable — to make out the meaning of (poor or partially obliterated writing, etc.): to decipher a hastily scribbled note.
illegible — not legible; impossible or hard to read or decipher because of poor handwriting, faded print, etc.: This letter is completely illegible.
incomprehensible — impossible to understand or comprehend; unintelligible.
