banded — If something is banded, it has one or more bands on it, often of a different colour which contrasts with the main colour.

piloted — a person duly qualified to steer ships into or out of a harbor or through certain difficult waters.
shepherded — a person who herds, tends, and guards sheep.
ushered — a person who escorts people to seats in a theater, church, etc.
watched — to be alertly on the lookout, look attentively, or observe, as to see what comes, is done, or happens: to watch while an experiment is performed.
