- catch — If you catch a person or animal, you capture them after chasing them, or by using a trap, net, or other device.
- join — to bring in contact, connect, or bring or put together: to join hands; to join pages with a staple.
- wed — to marry (another person) in a formal ceremony.
- pledge — a solemn promise or agreement to do or refrain from doing something: a pledge of aid; a pledge not to wage war.
- relate — to tell; give an account of (an event, circumstance, etc.).
- promise — a declaration that something will or will not be done, given, etc., by one: unkept political promises.
- conjugate — When pupils or teachers conjugate a verb, they give its different forms in a particular order.

- mate — a tealike South American beverage made from the dried leaves of an evergreen tree.

- tie the knot — an interlacing, twining, looping, etc., of a cord, rope, or the like, drawn tight into a knob or lump, for fastening, binding, or connecting two cords together or a cord to something else.
- settle down — to appoint, fix, or resolve definitely and conclusively; agree upon (as time, price, or conditions).
