Maybe these words will be useful:
- firsts — being before all others with respect to time, order, rank, importance, etc., used as the ordinal number of one: the first edition; the first vice president.
- first lien — a lien having priority over others attached to the same property.
- first aider — someone in an organization who has been trained to give immediate medical help in an emergency
- first and second manassas — two battles fought at Manassas Junction near a stream named Bull Run, during the American Civil War (July, 1861 and August, 1862), in both of which the Federal army was routed by the Confederates
- first born — Someone's first born is their first child.
- first cab off the rank — the first person, etc, to do or take advantage of something
- first call on sth — If you have first call on something, you will be asked before anyone else whether you want to buy or use it.
- first come first served — You say 'first come first served' to indicate that a group of people or things will be dealt with or given something in the order in which they arrive.
